The newest installment by DCL is A.K.I. Street Fighter 6. She’s all set to debut in the game on 27th September 2023.
The news of A.K.l. Street Fighter 6 arrival was confirmed after Capcom released Fighting Pass for the character on September 1.
DLC Characters Anticipated to Arrive
After Rashid, A.K.I. Street Fighter 6 is the newest character out of the four fights expected to be released next in the character roster. Additional characters like Ed will become available by the end of next year. Meanwhile, Akuma shall return in the spring of 2024. What’s interesting is that A.K.I. Street Fighter 6 and Rashid, the first DLC installment, are at loggerheads with each other. It is because Rashid has already encountered F.A.N.G. in Street Fighter 5.
Other characters include Manon, Maritsa, Dee Jay, Guile, Ken, JP, Juri, Cammy, Zangief, E. Honda, Dhalsim, Lily, Kimberly, and Blanka. Thus making A.K.I. Street Fighter 6 installment’s 20th playable character and DLC’s second release.

A.K.I. Lore and Persona
A.K.I. Street Fighter 6 is the fierce student of her master, F.A.N.G, who was first seen in Street Fighter V. The revelation came at Evo 2023 through the UDON comic. It also makes her a potential heir to the poisonous dynasty ruled by F.A.N.G.
Fans can interact with this new character in the single-player World Tour mode and help her upgrade her powers by finding potent herbal medications in Tim Hong Yuan. Players will also get an insight into A.K.I Street Fighter 6 personality. Undoubtedly, she has an unhealthy obsession with the evil organization named Shadaloo.
A.K.I Street Fighter 6 character was first leaked in June 2022, so she appears just two months after the prior character, Rashid. Capcom describes her as a “maniacal poison aficionado.”
Moreover, A.K.I. Street Fighter 6 trailer shown at EVO 2023 illustrated her as a malicious, seductive, yet deadly villain. According to the gameplay trailer, she has a unique umbrella hairstyle with platinum skin that complements her pale skin. Thus, donning a serpentine bodysuit, lengthy talons, and eyes that keep changing colors, she looks both terrifying and enticing. Her blood-chilling laugh echoes throughout the trailer.

A.K.I Street Fighter 6 Fighting Styles
According to the trailers, A.K.I. Street Fighter 6 is a force to be reckoned with. Certainly, she has some fierce moves that can instantly decapitate any opponent.
Sinister Slide: As the name suggests, A.K.I. makes a swift, reptilian slide, avoiding any impact from the opponent. She finishes the move with powerful strikes such as Venomous Fang, Heel Strike, or Entrapment.
Serpent Lash: is probably one of the most spectacular moves in the trailer. A.K.I Street Fighter 6 shoots her nails that multi-fiction has chains. Thus, completely dismantling the opponent.
Claws of Ya Zi: Her freakishly long claws can be used to inject poison into the opponent’s pressure points, well-known to the seasoned claw master.
Orchid Spring: A.K.I Street Fighter 6 can splatter a puddle of poison that will significantly lower the opponent’s health.
Nightshade Pulse: Like the puddle, A.K.I. is a pro at shooting poisonous bubbles that cause more damage once popped. Hence, giving the perfect opportunity for follow-up attacks.

The new character can be brought on the gaming consoles Street Fighter 6 is already available on. These include PS5, PS4, PC, and the Xbox series, X|S. Players can access A.K.I. Street Fighter 6 through alternative game modes such as Battle Hub, Fighting Ground, and World Tour.
Additionally, if you have the Year 1 Character Pass, you can instantly unlock A.K.I. Street Fighter 6 as soon as it’s released. Players with Deluxe Edition or Ultimate Edition can also get automatic updates. Others can unlock the player character for 350 Fighter Coins, around $7 USD. For now, cosmetic items A.K.I. -A.K.I.-themed items are available.
