Vince Zampella, the Studio founder and CEO, is very interested in seeing Titanfall 3 happen. However, it is only possible if there is no distraction due to the development and success of Apex Legends. In plain words, it simply translates that Titanfall 3 is not in development right now. In fact, there is a chance that the production of Titanfall 3 will not take place anytime soon.

Titanfall 3 Is No Longer A Priority
During a recent interview, Vince also said that Steve Fukuda, the mind behind the game, is currently leading a team for the company. The company aims to have fun while producing something new. However, this something new isn’t Titanfall 3 but a new IP. Even though this news is exciting, it is not good news for Titanfall 3.
While talking about the game, Zampella said everything has to be right regarding the franchise. It is because the fans adore the franchise, and the same is true for the developers too. He also thinks that now is not the right time to work on the game as they don’t have the right idea yet.
The original game was first released in 2014. Even though the franchise has a loyal fan base, it was unsuccessful enough to compete with major shooting games like Call of Duty.

The Fate Of The Game Was Decided In 2021?
Even though the news of the game is surfacing again, the fate of it was sealed two years back. In late 2021, the studio asked the faithful fans of the franchise not to keep their hopes high as there was no work going on concerning this game. Even though two years have passed since then, the game’s fate is still unchanged.
Is There Absolutely No Chance Of Titanfall 3 Happening?
We would not say that there is no future for the franchise, as Zampella has confirmed that he would like to see the future of this franchise. The developers are simply not working on it now. However, it does not mean that they will not work on the game even in the future. Currently, Respawn is focused on producing more content for its battle royale because of the high benefits attached to it.
In addition, it also had Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on its plan; therefore, the delay makes sense.
The Failure Titanfall 2
One of the primary reasons the franchise is deep down in the water is also because of the failure of its prequel. The launch time for the game was a major mistake. During its launch, Electronic Arts was launching Battlefield 1, and we also had Activision rolling out Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. There was hardly a gap of one week between the two. The makers thought slipping Titanfall 2 in between them was a good idea, which was a grave mistake! Even though the gamers wanted to play the game, they had sadly spent their money on other games.
