Neeko Rework Is Live
Riot Games has been fine-tuning the looks and features of the League of Legends champions for a long time. Players can testify for it as they have received mid-scope updates. Additionally, the game saw visual and gameplay updates (VGUs) and comprehensive gameplay updates (CGUs).
At the beginning of 2023, the Neeko rework intrigued players, and the gamer community wanted the update instantly. Later, a sneak peek of it made the gamers happy. Finally, three months after the initial announcement Neeko Rework is now live on Public Beta Environment (PBE). Phlox tweeted about Neeko Rework on April 18, calling it a big project as many people are working on it.

Neeko Rework Explained
At the beginning of the year, the gamers wanted much more from Neeko than simply her ability to mimic her allies. They wanted Neko to turn in other elements on the Summoner’s Rift, which included:
- Minions
- Jungle plants
- Monsters
- Teemo’s shrooms
Later, Riot’s Phlox explained the intention behind Neeko Rework. Phlox revealed that the changes were such that they preserved the current playstyle of Neeko while heightening her Trickster gameplay. In addition, Phlox said that the changes in Neeko Rework, which helps her in the jungle, are a bonus point for the gamers, and it is not her primary role.

What Does The Rework Include?
It’s time to discuss the rework in detail. The Neeko Rework has heightened Neeko’s damage rations for almost all her abilities. Also, many of them now have new effects to enhance her tricky nature. Moreover, she can now retain her transformation for all time, but it is not valid if her transformation health undergoes a depletion. Furthermore, players can now trigger her passive every six seconds.
Secondly, Neeko now has better control over the direction in which her clone travels, and she uses her W to achieve this. However, we must note that this redirection is very minute and wears off in a few seconds. Despite it, the players will now have more space to trick the opponent into thinking the clone is Neeko and vice versa.
The most significant change is visible when she hops into the air, immediately rooting the enemies standing in a circle. Furthermore, the enemies can be stunned for a bit longer when she lands. In simple words, gamers can now let go of the waiting time for applying crowd control. Unfortunately, it will snatch away Neeko’s shield. Subsequently, it will make it easy for the enemies to attack her if she is running on low defences and health. The change in ability again retains the original effect.
Where Can One Try The Rework?
Any players interested in the Neeko Rework update can access the same on the League’s PBE. The developers have not revealed any information about when the changes will hit the live servers. However, it is expected to hit the live servers in one of the patches that will unroll in May. Most sources indicate that it will arrive on patch 13.9, which is scheduled for May 3, 2023. Although, you should keep in mind that a few changes will be made to her, based on reviews, before the Neeko rework is officially out.
