Netflix is known for its top-tier heist shows; one such Netflix Original is Money Heist or La Casa De Papel. The franchise is returning to Netflix but for the last time. Money Heist Season 5 will have two volumes, each dropping in 2021! But will the same cast members return for the heist or not?

When Money Heist first debuted in 2017, it was an instant hit because of its unique storyline and star-stellar cast. With four seasons under its belt, the show will break more records with a new season! Created by Alex Pina, the series revolves around a mastermind Professor who schemes heists. To assist him in this quest, he hires people from all around the world. And this team then trains for months to be able to carry out their heists.
Throughout four seasons, we have seen two heists! Each one of them is unique in its place, and the suspense will keep you on the edge of your seat. Money Heist Season 5 Release Date
As mentioned earlier, the 5th season will launch in the form of 2 volumes. Why? Because the outbreak of Covid-19 messed up with the production schedule of Money Heist Season 5. And according to Alex Pina, the 5th season was not coming out the way he had expected. So he decided to break up the season into two volumes.
These two volumes will have a separate storyline but the same characters. It means that the cliffhanger of the 4th season will be explained in one part, and in the other part, the characters will be explored emotionally. This also implies that the fandom will get a lot of content!
Volume 1 of the 5th season will be released on 3rd September 2021, and the 2nd volume will drop on 2nd December 2021.
Cast
Money Heist has killed off its major characters in the past; Professor’s brother Berlin and Nairobi don’t expect them to feature in the 5th installment. But they might return in some flashback scenes, or who knows, maybe the writers will reincarnate them somehow!
Just like every other season of Money Heist, the 5th season will also introduce some new faces. And Netflix has already disclosed their names; Miguel Ángel Silvestre (previously starred in Sky Rojo) and Patrick Criado. But their character details are yet to be known.

Plot
The 4th season of Money Heist ended on a major cliffhanger. And the story will resume from there. Moreover, Netflix has released the official synopsis for Money Heist Season 5:
“The gang has been shut in the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours. They have managed to rescue Lisbon, but their darkest moment is upon them after losing one of their own. Sierra has captured the Professor and, for the first time, doesn’t have an escape plan. Just when it seems like nothing else could go wrong, an enemy comes on the scene that is much more powerful than any they’ve faced: the army. The end of the greatest heist in history is approaching, and what began as a robbery will turn into a war.”
This upcoming season will be very different from the past four seasons. This time the characters will have to fight for their own lives! Will the Professor betray his co-partners to save his life? Or will he come up with a new master plan? For all these answers, we’ll have to wait for the 5th season to release!
