The Alameda County Coroner’s Office has officially disclosed the reason behind Angus Cloud cause of t death to Variety  Thursday. According to their report, Angus Cloud’s cause of death was attributed to an acute intoxication due to a lethal combination of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and benzodiazepines.

The combination of these substances created a lethal cocktail that overwhelmed Angus Cloud’s body’s ability to function properly. The simultaneous presence of stimulants (methamphetamine and cocaine) and depressants (fentanyl and benzodiazepines) in his system likely resulted in a chaotic and potentially fatal interaction.

It’s worth noting that Angus Cloud had been grappling with a profound personal loss, as his father had recently passed away. His family revealed that he had been profoundly affected by this loss. This was evident in his struggles.

Just a week before his accidental overdose, Angus had attended his father’s funeral in Ireland. The unfortunate incident occurred at his family residence in Oakland, California.

After his passing, Sam Levinson, the creator of “Euphoria,” expressed his heartfelt condolences, saying:

Furthermore, he added: “I hope he knew how many hearts he touched. I loved him. I always will. Rest in peace, and God Bless his family.”

In a heartfelt tribute to Angus Cloud, his fellow “Euphoria” cast member Zendaya penned a touching message following his passing. She expressed her deep gratitude for having had the opportunity to know him in this lifetime and referred to him as a beloved brother.

She said: “I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh. “I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love… ‘they could light up any room they entered, but boy, let me tell you, he was the best at it. I’d like to remember him that way.”
