If we talk about the plot for this season then following the third season, which is all about the Order of X. It was a secret society that held immense power and wealth. The characters in the series got to prove that society existed in the finale of the third season. Just when the show was getting interesting, the season came to an end. Well, worry not, we will be seeing a lot more of the dangerous society and a lot more mystery left unsolved by Sam, Troy, and the others.
Sam is on the case of the society, this could mean that either she and her friends will try to unravel all the secrets of the society and force its members to show themselves and confront their sins or they would revive it to bring it out in the open.
The writer of the novel who is a major part in making the TV series says that this season along with its usual things will also explore and discover contemporary issues. He also said that the main themes of this season would be meritocracy and virtue signaling.
The writer further explains by saying that giving temporary statutes and solutions to problems of Black people is not enough. We need to make permanent changes for the society to learn the importance of Black people.
