Ryan Keeler’s cause of death was cardiac dysrhythmia owing to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. His body ceased to function earlier this year; however, the coroner’s office announced Ryan Keeler’s cause of death on Monday, June 5, 2023. According to the coroner’s office, the budding sports star could not sustain the fatal arrhythmia due to the thickening of the heart muscles. As per the coroner’s office, the doctors declared his death to be natural.

Report of Las Vegas Police Department
The police department of Las Vegas dropped a report in March, unveiling that the unfortunate young man was prescribed medication before his death. He had been complaining about nausea and ailing since February 13, a week prior to his passing. As per the report, an empty bottle of medicine was beside him when was found dead.
The sports medicine director had a conversation with the police in Las Vegas, who told him that the doctor prescribed the late UNLV player the medicines on February 17. A few days later, Julio Garcia, UNLV’s graduate assistant coach, was the first person to find Ryan Keeler permanently unconscious.
On February 20, UNLV’s defensive line coach and another coach were doing a welfare check on Keeler in the afternoon. After knocking on the door to the apartment and hearing no response in return, the coach kicked the apartment door down and eventually found Keeler dead on the bed.
“We join the community and members of UNLV Athletics in mourning the loss of this rising football star and send our condolences to Ryan’s family and friends,” said the release from the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
