Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City is the first first-person action-adventure VR game based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Developed by Cortopia Studios, the action-adventure VR game now has an official release date.

Publisher Beyond Frames Entertainment confirmed that the game will launch on April 30, 2026, for SteamVR and Meta Quest.
About Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City
The game follows four teenage turtles and their surrogate father, a rat named Splinter – all of them are transformed into human-like forms after being exposed to a mysterious ooze in the sewers of New York. Splinter names them after famous artists – Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael, and trains them in the art of ninjutsu, so that they can protect New York (and sometimes even the world) from evil forces.
Empire City is a VR hack-and-slash action-adventure game, which allows up to four players to play together in co-op mode.
After Shredder is gone, a fight for power begins in New York City. The Japanese branch of the Foot Clan, led by Karai, tries to take control of the city and is secretly building a powerful weapon. That’s when the four heroes step in to stop them and save New York City from the Foot Clan.
Karai wants to bring the Foot Clan together under her leadership, but she does not want to lead the same way as Shredder did, as she doesn’t believe in ruling through fear or using very aggressive methods. But the clan is divided, and some members oppose her. As she tries to take control, she faces challenges from the Foot Elite and other new leaders.

Players can play solo or team up to four players in co-op mode. Players get to use the signature weapons of the Ninja Turtle brothers, perform parkour moves and fight fan-favorite villains.
One important feature of the first-person VR game is it allows players to master each turtle’s weapon with precise attacks and blocks. Players can also unlock new gear using Donatello’s workbench and upgrade their weapons with different gadgets. And of course, there will be plenty of pizza to boost energy.
