When Is The Boys’ Final Season Releasing?
Prime Video has finally put fans’ long wait to an end by revealing the release date of the upcoming fifth and final season of The Boys. The Emmy-winning series will premiere on April 8, 2026, with a two-episode launch, followed by weekly episodes leading up to the finale on May 20, 2026.
Prime Video released the much-awaited final trailer on March 5, 2026, further building excitement for the upcoming season.
The announcement was shared with two new striking posters. The official social media account of The Boys captioned the post, “Let’s light one last f***in’ candle. Final trailer coming tomorrow, lads.”
The Boys Season 5 Story
Season 5 starts in a world where Homelander seems to be in full control. The powerful and unpredictable Supe has strengthened his hold over everything. According to the official synopsis, Hughie Campbell, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are being held in a ‘Freedom Camp’ as Homelander tightens his grip on the world.
Billy Butcher returns ready and willing to use a virus that could wipe all Supes off the map, setting off events that could change everything. Jensen Ackles is set to return as Soldier Boy, adding another major twist to the final season.
