Paramount+ Teases About MobLand Season 2 Release

A new Paramount+ promo video, narrated by Helen Mirren, gives a preview of the streamer’s 2026 shows. The promo, which was released ahead of a new trailer for Kevin Costner–produced The Gray House, confirms MobLand season 2 as one of the streamer’s returning shows this year.

Other New & Returning Shows On Paramount+

Apart from MobLand, the other new and returning shows on Paramount+ in 2026 include two Yellowstone spinoffs – Taylor Sheridan’s The Madison and Dutton Ranch. The lineup also features new seasons of Survivor, Dexter: Resurrection and Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. The promo ended with Helen Mirren hyping the lineup in a playful Q&A style, noting that ‘when the lineup is this stacked, questions are inevitable.’

MobLand Joins the Trend

With MobLand set to return for season 2 in 2026, the show adds to Paramount+’s trend of releasing new seasons in back-to-back years. This comes at a time when viewers are tired of long waits between seasons on streaming platforms. For example, Stranger Things had a three-year gap between its fourth and fifth seasons, House of the Dragon faced two-year gaps between seasons, and The Boys was also delayed for two years between seasons.

However, recently, Paramount+ has broken the trend of long waits with some of the popular shows like Landman and Dexter: Resurrection, with MobLand now joining that standout list.
