The popular medical sitcom Scrubs is all set to return after being off the air for 16 years, making it one of the most-anticipated TV comebacks of 2026.
The series originally aired from 2001 to 2010 and ran for nine seasons, becoming one of the most loved shows on television. Although the ninth season received mixed reactions, the revival has already started getting positive early reviews. As of 24th February 2026, Rotten Tomatoes gives it an 88% critics’ score, but this could change as more reviews come in.

Scrubs is set to premiere on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 8 pm ET on ABC. After the premiere, the second episode will air the same night, while new episodes will be released weekly.

Scrubs Season 10 Cast
The revival features the return of Zach Braff as Dr John ‘J.D.’ Dorian, the daydreaming protagonist, who is accompanied by Donald Faison as Dr Christopher Turk and Sarah Chalke as Dr Elliot Reid. Scrubs Season 10 Story
The story takes place 15 years after season nine and follows Dr Dorian, Dr Turk and Dr Reid as they become the senior staff at Sacred Heart. The trio is seen guiding a new group of doctors and medical interns.
