Gone For Good Is Coming To Netflix Soon In August! Read More About It Here

Gone For Good

Gone For Good

Netflix is all set to host its new thriller limited series “Gone for Good” based on the 2002 best-selling novel of Harlan Coben. The French TV series has already gained considerable clout from the audience with its exciting teasers and trailers. But will it be able to compete with the already existing Netflix originals in the same genre? And most importantly who is in the cast of Gone For Good?

The series was co-created by David Elkaïm And Vincent Poymiro. Below you’ll find everything that you need to know about the show’s release date, cast, plot, and trailer. So, let’s begin!

Gone For Good Release Date

Netflix confirmed a few days ago that Gone for Good will release on 13th August 2021. So, clear your day to binge-watch all the episodes! The first season hasn’t even aired yet but the fans of the novel series are curious about the sequel of the show.

However there is no word on Gone for Good Season 2. And it is better to not expect a second season because Netflix is releasing the series as a “limited series” which means that the story will not be continued in the later installments!

Cast

As the series is set in France the majority of the main cast is also French. Which means you’ll be seeing a lot of unfamiliar faces in the show! The following list contains the names of all the confirmed cast members of Gone for Good:

And obviously there are other supporting cast members too! There might be some cameo appearances planned for the viewers but we don’t know their names yet. Guess we will have to wait till the show premiers on 13th August.

Gone For Good Plot

As mentioned earlier the series is based on a novel so we already know the main plot. But we do not know whether the showrunners will follow the events of the story closely as the adaptations are not always exact. So, we’ll only find this out once all the episodes of Gone for Good drop.

The official plot synopsis given by Netflix is mentioned below:

“Guillaume Lucchesi had drawn a line under the terrible tragedy which saw the two people he loved the most die: Sonia, his first love, and Fred, his brother. Ten years later, Judith, his new lover, suddenly disappears. To find her, Guillaume will have to face all the truths hidden by his family and friends, as well as the ones he’d decided to ignore. For better, but mostly for worse.”

The setting of the series is quite dark as the main character has gone through a lot. And if you get triggered by such events easily then Gone for Good is not the best show for you to watch! There is only grief in the fate of Guillaume as 10 years later when he will finally  get over the tragic deaths his wife will disappear into thin air and in order to find her he will have to face the dark truths of his life and his family’s.

But will he succeed in his mission? The answer lies in the 5 part series!

Trailer

Netflix has been quite generous with the footage of Gone for Good. As there are multiple teasers and trailers for the show on Netflix’s official YouTube account. So, watch it before it is too late!

That was everything that you needed to know about the upcoming mystery crime series Gone for Good. As there is still a few days left for the show to release you can binge-watch another crime documentary, Sophie: A Murder in West Cork, which is also available on Netflix
