After this picture got leaked on the internet fans had a field day with it! Why? Because the set picture showed Grace Fulton dressed up as Mary Marvel (or Lady Shazam) alongside Djimon Hounsou who was in the costume of the Wizard! It is a big deal because Hounsou played the role of Wizard in the first film.
The Wizard (Hounsou) disappeared in the first film after he gave away his superior abilities to Billy. After which the character never reappeared in the films consequently everyone presumed him to be dead. But when these pictures of him resurfaced on the internet everyone lost their chill because his reappearance will be a major plot twist in the Shazam storyline.
As the details behind his role in the film are not out yet, we assume that Hespera and her sister Kalypso will be the reason behind his sudden appearance. These pictures might be revealed as a hint for the “celestial conflict” that will follow in the sequel of Shazam.
Moreover, when the fandom saw Fulton as Lady Shazam, they were left astounded because Michelle Broth portrayed Mary Marvel in the previous movies. So, what led to this sudden change in actors?
