Following the sale of Bottom Dollar to a wealthy and influential retired shipping magnate, Doug and Joyce find themselves facing a new reality. The success of Minx brings in increased wealth, fame, and alluring temptations. With new leadership in place, Doug grapples with finding his place and preserving his authority within Bottom Dollar. Simultaneously, Joyce starts to lose touch with her fundamental beliefs as she becomes engrossed in her journey to stardom. The group of misfits from Bottom Dollar enters the mainstream. However, they soon begin to question their evolving identities and true desires amidst this newfound success.

Second Season Cast
Lovibond assumes the character of Joyce Prigger, a person who once had aspirations of creating her own magazine. She eventually achieves her goals when Minx becomes a commercial hit. However, as Joyce’s notoriety and power grow, she starts to lose sight of her primary principles. Moreover, she finds it difficult to match her ambition with her morals.
Johnson plays Doug Renetti in the interim, who recently sold Bottom Dollar and amassed amazing wealth beyond his wildest dreams. The new owner of Bottom Dollar appears to favour Joyce and Tina over Doug. This makes Doug feel like an outsider. The desire to demonstrate his ability drives Doug to replicate his prior success. Doug begins to feel anxious about losing his place in the business he built. This makes him doubtful about his place there.
Idara Victor plays Tina, who makes the audacious choice to forgo business school and instead take the managing editor position at Minx. When Tina’s remarkable business acumen is acknowledged by the new owner of Bottom Dollar, this hazardous decision starts appearing profitable. In her role as Bambi, Jessica Lowe plays a girl who leaves her prior career as a nude model in search of meaning and discovers her true calling at Bottom Dollar.
Oscar Montoya plays Richie, the art director of Minx. Richie is excited about the chance to grow the magazine and embrace new artistic endeavours. Lennon Parham plays the part of Shelly, a character who tries to go back to normal after having a romantic relationship with Bambi in the first season. In order to achieve stability and harmony in her personal life, Shelly concentrates on reinforcing her marriage to Lenny.
Constance Papadopolous is a new cast member in Season 2 played by Elizabeth Perkins (Weeds). Constance is an eccentric and outspoken former shipping tycoon who comes out of early retirement to buy Bottom Dollar. She sets her lofty ambitions on growing the Minx brand and guiding the business towards worldwide expansion because she is endowed with an endless supply of riches and power.
